Come celebrate the spring equinox by meeting some amazing local vendors and mingling with your local pagan community! Get tips on gardening, taking care of your house plants, and much more. Gain some insight into your year with tarot and oracle readings. Prepare your year by sewing some seeds of abundance, whether it be actual plant seeds or putting into action spellwork to bring in new opportunities!

Asianfest is a kickoff celebration of the 2025 Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, hosted by the IU Asian Culture Center and the City of Bloomington. This year's AAPI Heritage Month theme is Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander History and Community. Our focus is to honor and exploreour shared AAPI history and the diverse backgrounds within our communities.

Planted will be at Showwalter Fountain during the dinner hour celebrating IU’s first first 🙃 Thursday of the year!
First Thursdays festivals showcase the diversity of arts and humanities at IU Bloomington and offer a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members to explore new creative outlets. Previous festivals have included everything from opera to breakdancing, stage-fighting to clay-throwing, and much, much more. Each festival is a unique opportunity to experience the wonderful work of artists, performers, and scholars from all across campus and around town.

We are back at this year’s Music Expo at Switchyard.
Explore 50 tables filled with a selection of thousands of music items. Crate diggers will discover new and pre-loved LPs, 45s, CDs, cassettes, memorabilia, posters, and record storage supplies. You’ll find an abundance of classic rock, pop, metal, punk, prog rock, and ’80s favorites. Select vendors carry blues, jazz, R&B, soul, country, bluegrass, and other genres. Join us for Bloomington’s only record show! Parking is available for free.

Earth Day
Switchyard Park

The City of Bloomington will host the third annual Earth Day event at Switchyard Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12:00-4:00pm. The event is free and open to the public, and will feature live music, food and drinks, local vendors, door prize drawings, tree giveaways, and more. This event is hosted as a joint effort between the Department of Economic and Sustainable Development, Go Bloomington, and the Parks and Recreation Department.
