Plant-Based Cooking Classes
Plant-based Cooking Classes
Come to the Planted Kitchen next to the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary to learn how to cook some plant-based meals!
We will…
1) Cook a handful of simple yet tasty plant-based meals.
2) Eat, eat, eat! Yes, of course, we will eat what we cook!
3) Cook with people interested in learning more about plant-based cooking (just like you!)
4) Leave with a variety of recipes that you can easily incorporate into your cooking repertoire and even fit into a busy life.
5) End the session with a tour of the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary, meet the goat and chicken residents, get some goat snuggles and listen to the peaceful cooing of our sweet chickens.
*$10 from every registration will be given as a donation to the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary.
Here are some of our upcoming classes:
Community Cooking: The Vegan Breakfast (simple) Feast
In this two hour course, we will make and eat a tasty and robust yet simple to prepare vegan breakfast, including beverages and one sweet and three savory breakfast standards (with a vegan twist). We will end the session with a visit to the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary to hang out with some of the resident goats and chickens.
Community Cooking: Four Quick Easy Plant-Based Dinners
One of the hurdles to including more plant-based meals in ones life is often where to start and how to make meals that are tasty, filling and easy to prepare. In this two and a half hour course, together we will make 4 main dishes that are delicious, nutritious and quick and easy to prepare and one super simple yet yummy dessert. We will end the session with a visit to the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary to hang out with some of the resident goats and chickens.
Community Cooking: Lighter Fare for Warmer Weather, A Sampling of Summer Soups and Salads
In the summer, it’s nice to have your hand on recipes that are lighter, quick to prepare and don’t toast up your kitchen. In this Community Cooking Session, we are featuring some of our favorite cold soups and high protein salads, all taking advantage of the bounty of local seasonal produce. We will, of course, toss in a dessert recipe as well, because we crave those during the summer too. And, as always, we will end the session with a visit to the Goat Conspiracy Sanctuary to hang out with some of the resident goats and chickens.
